Fred for pharmacy.

Answer hours and service questions, screen vaccines, and route every prescription to a pharmacist around the clock. Configure guardrails for your business and reserve professional decisions for your team.

Answer the question. Route it to a pharmacist.

The phone never stops: hours, transfers, vaccines, “is there a generic.” Fred answers the front-of-house questions and frees your staff, but anything clinical, refills, dosing, interactions, controlled substances, goes straight to a licensed pharmacist. Fred never touches a prescription itself.

What Fred does

  • Answers hours, services, and what you carry
  • Explains the transfer process and captures requests
  • Screens vaccine eligibility to a pharmacist and books it
  • Routes generic and cost questions to a pharmacist

When Fred hands off to you

  • Overdose, allergic reaction, or urgent symptoms
  • Refills, transfers, and controlled-substance requests
  • Dosing, interaction, and substitution questions
  • Anyone needing a pharmacist

What Fred won’t do

  • Refill, transfer, or dispense a prescription
  • Give dosing or medication advice
  • Recommend switching medications

Pre-configured for pharmacy: retail and compounding, vaccines, transfers, and generic and cost questions; every clinical item routed to a licensed pharmacist.

Script questions never stop. Fred routes them right.

Example rules to review and configure for your deployment.

Every pharmacy deployment runs the Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical pack. The panel below illustrates industry rules, custom rules, and intended boundaries. Configured checks target recognized patterns; they can miss context or flag harmless content. Confirm the active rules and test them for your deployment. Example messages are illustrative and must be adapted to your services and escalation workflow.

Hard limits

Intended boundaries for the configured rules. Detection and handoff are not guaranteed.

  • Do not refill, transfers, or dispenses a prescription, a licensed pharmacist does
  • Do not give dosing advice or recommends switching medications
  • Do not handle controlled substances without pharmacist verification
  • Configure routing for overdose, allergic-reaction, and interaction questions to a pharmacist. Check receipt and follow-up.

Your custom rules

Layered on top of the pack, unique to your practice. No developer required.

Unlimited

The pack is the starting line, not the ceiling. Every deployment can add its own rules in the admin, block, warn, or just log on any phrase you choose, in either phase, with your own response message. They run right alongside the pack.

  • BLOCKoff-topic requests that aren’t your practice
  • WARNbefore anyone is quoted a price over chat
  • LOGwhen a visitor asks about a specific provider
Add your own rule

Pharmacy questions.

Can Fred refill or transfer a prescription?

No. Fred can’t refill, transfer, or dispense prescriptions. It captures the request and routes it to a licensed pharmacist to handle.

Will Fred give dosing or medication advice?

No. Dosing, interactions, and substitutions go to a licensed pharmacist or the prescribing clinician. Fred won’t advise on medication itself.

What about an overdose or reaction?

Configure recognized emergency patterns to direct visitors to emergency services or a qualified clinician. Detection and pharmacist notification are not guaranteed; contact the appropriate service directly and do not wait for this chat.

Can it handle vaccines and generics?

Fred screens vaccine eligibility to a pharmacist and books it, and routes generic-availability and cost-assistance questions to a pharmacist.
