What do I need to run the plugin?
A WordPress site and an API key from at least one provider (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or Grok). Install the plugin, point Fred at your content, pick your industry guardrail pack, and turn him on. Most businesses are live in about 20 minutes. Our training videos walk you through it, or add a paid setup and we configure it with you.
What does BYOAPI mean for my bill?

Where does my data live?
On your own hosting. The knowledge base, conversation transcripts, and lead data stay in your WordPress install, with PII redaction applied before anything is stored or forwarded to your CRM. Nothing routes through us in plugin mode.
How is this different from Fred Cloud?

Will it slow my site down?
