Why won’t Fred tell me if a dish is safe for my allergy?

Allergen safety depends on ingredients, prep, and cross-contamination that only your staff can verify, and a wrong answer can hurt someone. Fred routes every allergen question to a person before anyone orders. That boundary is enforced on our servers before Fred ever speaks, not suggested in a prompt a clever question can talk around.

Why won’t Fred take a drink order?

Alcohol service is governed by dram-shop and drinking-age laws, so age checks and service have to happen with staff. Fred answers general questions and connects a team member.

Will Fred give nutrition or food-safety advice?

No. Nutrition values change with prep and portion, and food-safety calls on temperature and storage are too risky to guess. Fred points you to posted info, your server, or the right official resource.
